Pike Road Intermediate School is a Purple Star School. Our school has a military liaison, Dr. Lashae King (Lashae.King@pikeroadschools.org) designated to assist our military families. Pike Road Schools recognizes the unique circumstances and situations that may face our military youth and works closely with school administration and military program partners to meet the unique needs of our military families and their students.
PRIS Captain's Club
The Pike Road Intermediate School Captain's Club is an organization designed for military connected students at PRIS. These students meet throughout the year to work on service projects, plan military events for events like Veterans Day and The Month of the Military Child, and spend time with other military connected students. This club is an opportunity for learners from military families to connect with others and to give them leadership opportunities. Our Captains Club students are helpful when we have students who move in from other countries and nations, welcoming them and helping them to feel connected to PRIS when they arrive.
