
Athletic Updates:
The wrestling match has been cancelled for Thursday, January 23rd. Our Wrestling Team will be heading to the State Championship Tournament in Birmingham this Saturday. We wish them all the best. Go Pats!
The Senior Night basketball game vs. Rehobeth for tonight has been postponed to Monday, January 27th at 5 pm.
The Russell County basketball game on Saturday, January 25th will start at 3:30 pm with the Varsity Girls Team and the Varsity Boys Team will begin immediately after the girls game. There will not be a JV game Saturday.
Thank you for your understanding as we finish up area play and consider the safety of teams traveling to our gym.

Pike Road Schools will be open tomorrow, Friday, January 24. All buses will run their scheduled routes, and school doors will open at their normal times.

Pike Road Schools is closed today in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.


Due to the probability of extreme temperatures, wintery precipitation, and potential impact on travel, all Pike Road Schools, and PRS offices will be closed Tuesday, Jan 21st and Wednesday, Jan 22nd, including after school activities. All school operations are expected to resume as normal Thursday, January 23. Please stay warm and weather aware.


📌The Board of Education will hold a called Board Meeting at 7:00 a.m. on January 16, 2025. The meeting will be held at the Pike Road Schools Central Office, located at Saint James Church, 9045 Vaughn Road.

Due to potential inclement weather, we will delay the start of school by 2 hours tomorrow morning, Friday, January 10. We are mindful of our staff and faculty who commute from outside the area, and the safety of our young drivers traveling in these potential conditions.
Buses will run 2 hours later than their scheduled time, and schools will open 2 hours after their regular start time.
*Please note that breakfast will not be served.
